Erectile dysfunction medications took in Glengormley

Large amounts of unlicensed medications have actually been taken by Department of Health authorities during a search of a house in Glengormley.

A guy was interviewed by department officers about and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications by means of the internet.

The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offenses.

He will now be the topic of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.

The search was brought out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.

Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: "It is crucial that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be unsafe.

"These types of products being offered, generally online, have undergone no quality control and there can be no warranty about their safety.

"You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More notably, you do not know the result drugs like this may have on your health."
